About this Red Jasper bracelet
The ancient warriors' blood-red stone of endurance and profound grounding.
History
Highly regarded throughout the ancient world, red jasper was prominently used in Minoan Crete to carve intricate seals, owing to its exceptional toughness. Native American traditions heavily utilised the stone, referring to it as the blood of Mother Earth, and relied upon it as a grounding talisman during spiritual ceremonies. Egyptian priests traditionally carved protective amulets from it to ensure safe passage into the afterlife. The name jasper originates from the ancient Greek 'iaspis', meaning spotted stone.
