About this Citrine bracelet

The vibrant golden stone traditionally associated with abundance and prosperity.

History

Ancient Greeks carved iconic ornaments from citrine as early as the Hellenistic Age, while seventeenth-century Scottish weapon makers frequently used the stone to decorate the handles of daggers and swords. In more recent traditions, it has been widely referred to as the 'merchant's stone' due to its long-standing association with commercial success and the accumulation of wealth. The name citrine derives from the Latin word citrina and the Old French word citrin, both directly translating to yellow.
